There are a lot of frustrating moments in the second to second action game-play.. This game is surprisingly fun. From the first time starting it, I played the story mode solid for hours. The plot is standard, but the action is straightforward, the controller scheme only took me a minute or so to figure out, The action seems well paced, when the action isn't well paced (For instance, you destroy a wave of foes and have massive time remaining) it gives you free health and points until more attackers come. You get a lot of achievements early on, the one time there seemed to be a bug, I even got an achievement for the bug, and it even notices when it's running a bit slow and suggests you bump down the resolution.Also, the sound effects can be funny, Most of the after boss bonus rounds seemed great, the bosses seemed like a good mix of challenge and fairness, and so may explosions from my bullets and specials make this a solid recommend!. Wasteland Angel is a fun, if shallow action game in the mold of micro-machines, set in a post-apocalyptic future. If you're looking for a quick desctraction from a AAA title, then you could do a lot worse than this game.Arm your car with weapons, power-ups and amror. Point in the direction of the enemy vehicles and shoot away. Getting power-ups is addictive, as is using the special weapons to destroy the enemy cars. Gameplay is repetitive. Missions are mainly defending town population from slavers. There are a few that are variations: such as first-person drive-by levels and the kill or be killed boss levels. Six camapign stages provides 4-6 hours of play in story-mode, but you can play to beat the leaderboards on a per level basis afterwards. Overall the game is one of those easy to overlook, but if you take a chance in a sale it will give you a good few hours of destructive fun. One of those to keep on your hard-drive for a quick blast now and again.. I got this on sale cheap, and I am angry that I even wasted my time. Thinking of contacting support for your problem? HAHAHA NO. This game has issues that have been known and not addressed for years.The configuration options menu is garbage and can't be reset back to default after it screws up by insisting you pressed keys that you did not. Its a hassle to try (and fail) to set it windowed mode (why do so many delevelopers F this up? Its not rocket science!) and even when you succeed, that will cause new issues if you have multiple monitors. There were so many problems before I even got started that I don't even have double digits of playtime on this piece of sh**. It's not even worth a dollar.. Not bad, but not really good either. Enemy AI is horrible. It has its fun moments but wears of pretty fast. Get it on a sale for 90% off. You will have fun for about an hour.
